“What’s wrong is wrong”, if only it were so simple

Unchecked transgressions propagate further transgressions incessantly

Speak and be silenced, remain silent and lose your dignity

Accountability is like morality… it only ever matters when it benefits the individual

Give your thoughts, watch them drown

I’ve seen tragedies on end, via an oblong box

I only chase my dreams when I fantasize

Sit and wonder when the dream really starts

Maybe the future is a bit romanticized

What really matters can always be made into art

Everything else is just here to keep you mesmerized

Individuals paint their world with the apprehension in their hearts

Be wary of what you conceptualize

All there is to do is play your small part

This is a world crafted to keep you hypnotized

Only wisdom can save you from the lies that tear us apart

Pitiful, hateful, spiteful and small, traits so common it could drive you mental

Never thought it would be hard for us to tell righteous from sinful

If only it were so simple
